We all have talents, passions, and interests that can be turned into a business. Think about what makes you stand out from everyone else. We were all born for a reason, so think about your unique qualities that separate you from the crowd. As business owners, we are public figures and every public figure needs a

brand to be remembered by.< strong>Take the First Step Your platform will follow you through life and in social media when you are a business owner. It will be present on your online platforms, especially in your blog posts. Therefore, it takes special thought and attention to create the right one. This is where our differences really come alive, and that’s okay. That is desired. Keep these things in mind when determining what you would like your platform to be:< ol>
How do you want to be known?
What is your niche? What are you good at?
What are you passionate about?
What do you like to talk about?
What do you like to do for fun?
What major themes are present in your products/ services?
What topic do people most often come to you for advice on?
Where do you see yourself in a year from now?

The next step in the process is to come up with a tagline. A tagline is a simple phrase that is included on your online and offline media in order to brand you. Some people choose to make the taglines specific to their products, while others like them to convey a message that resonates more with their spiritual side. Think about your passions when coming up with both your tagline and platform. Something to keep in mind regarding your new platform is that it cannot be changed too often without requiring rebranding. Therefore, take some time to think about how you would like to be known. I cannot stress that enough.

You Have It Once you have figured out what you would like your platform and tagline to be, you can progress into the marketing stages. At this point, you should be able to outline a respective list of blog ideas. I highly recommend reaching out to people who blog or write in a similar field. That will help you gain credibility once you start connecting with them. After that, I suggest creating a logo and putting it on your business cards. You can use PicMonkey to create
Facebook banners and blog banners with your new platform. Keep in mind that with this new platform, you can also network with organizations who have the same morals and positions. Consider communicating with nonprofits and other types of businesses who will support your cause. That will enhance your portfolio. It also makes for great conversation starters during interviews.< strong>
